Commercial Real Estate Advisory

Client Overview

Westvale Commercial Real Estate was founded by Bay Area commercial real estate veteran Marty Smith to provide highly personalized advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, family trusts, and private investors throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Power Marketing SF’s relationship with Marty Smith extends beyond Westvale CRE. Years earlier, we partnered with Marty and his partner, Jeff Deaton, during his co-Presidency at Alhouse Deaton, a respected Bay Area commercial property management and brokerage firm that was ultimately acquired by Kennedy Wilson. Our previous work included brand support, website development, and ongoing marketing management that helped strengthen the firm’s digital presence and market visibility. (Alhouse Deaton Case Study)

When Marty made the decision to launch his own commercial real estate advisory firm, he turned to Power Marketing SF to help transform the vision into a market-ready brand from the ground up.

Challenge

Launching a new commercial real estate advisory firm in a highly competitive Bay Area market required far more than a logo and website. The challenge was to create a brand that reflected Marty’s decades of experience, established credibility, and trusted reputation while positioning Westvale CRE as a modern, boutique advisory firm focused on serving sophisticated investors and property owners.

The project required:

  • Creating a compelling company name and brand identity.
  • Developing a strategic market position distinct from larger brokerage firms.
  • Building a professional digital presence from scratch.
  • Establishing a long-term marketing strategy to support business growth.
  • Creating systems for ongoing content, communications, and brand management.

Approach

Power Marketing SF served as Westvale CRE’s outsourced marketing department, guiding the project from concept to launch and continuing to manage ongoing marketing initiatives.

Naming & Brand Strategy

We facilitated the strategic brand development process that resulted in the creation of the Westvale Commercial Real Estate name.

The naming strategy focused on communicating:

  • Stability and trust
  • Long-term value creation
  • Professional sophistication
  • Regional market expertise
  • Boutique-level client service

Once the name was established, we developed the foundational brand messaging, positioning statements, and overall market identity.

Brand Identity Development

Our team created a professional visual identity designed to resonate with investors, property owners, trustees, and commercial real estate decision-makers. This included:

Visual brand guidelines

Crafted a messaging framework that emphasized Westvale's strengths: authority, measurable results, and a true partnership approach.

Website Development

Power Marketing SF designed and launched the Westvale CRE website to serve as the company's primary marketing and credibility platform.

Marketing Planning & Management

Before launch, we developed a comprehensive marketing roadmap to guide Westvale CRE's growth, the result was a clear marketing framework that continues to guide the company's outreach and visibility efforts. Following the brand launch, we continue to provide ongoing marketing management services for Westvale CRE. By serving as an extension of the Westvale team, we ensure the firm's marketing remains professional, consistent, and aligned with its long-term growth goals.

Power Marketing SF's Role

Rather than simply executing individual marketing projects, we partnered with the founder to build the company from the ground up—developing the name, brand, website, strategic marketing framework, and ongoing management systems needed to support long-term success.
